Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which the provider concerned is certified, and on standard contractual clauses where applicable. Our service providers established in the EU may in turn engage sub-processors outside the EU under the same safeguards.

This website contains links to external websites and to documents hosted on external platforms, including Google Drive. When you follow such a link, you leave this website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence on the processing of personal data by these providers.

Videos, where displayed, are hosted on our own infrastructure. Links to external video platforms are marked as such and lead away from this website.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

• Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact.

• Enquiries that lead to a contract: retained for 10 years in accordance with the statutory retention obligation under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations.

• Server log data: retained for a short period in accordance with the provider's standard settings.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights in respect of your personal data. To exercise any of them, please contact us using the details under “Controller” at the very top of this declaration..

• Right to information and access: 

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by us. If so, you have the right to obtain a copy of that data, free of charge, together with information on the purposes, categories, recipients, retention period - or if not possible the criteria used to determine that period - and origin of the data.

• Right to rectification

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to demand the immediate correction of incorrect personal data concerning them. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you also have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary statement.

• Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to demand from us that the personal data concerning them be deleted immediately, provided that one of the following reasons applies and insofar as the processing is not necessary:

• The personal data have been collected or otherwise processed for purposes for which they are no longer necessary

• You withdraw consent on which the processing is based and where there is no other legal ground for the processing

• You object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or you object to the processing in the case of direct marketing and associated profilin

• The personal data has been processed unlawfully

• The erasure of personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject

• The personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services directly provided to a child.

• Right to restriction of processing

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to request us to restrict the processing if one of the following conditions is met:

• The accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data

• The processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead

• We no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims

• You objected to the processing on grounds relating to yourparticular situation and it is not yet clear whether our legitimate grounds override those of yours.

• Right to data portability

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to receive the personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to have this data transmitted to another controller if the legal requirements are met. Furthermore, you have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible and provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

• Right to object

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning them at any time for reasons arising from their particular situation.We will no longer process the personal data in the event of an objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

• Right to withdraw consent

Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

• Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the supervisory authority of your country of residence or place of work.

11. Privacy policy for objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of our obligation to provide a legal notice for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
